Welcome to my new bi-monthly newsletter! Next week marks two years for The Biking Broker and it’s been a challenging and rewarding time for me – and it probably has for you too. Thanks for your support! I hope you will find this newsletter informative and interesting.
The GFC and finance industry licensing laws introduced through legislation and governed by ASIC has meant a lot of brokers have already left, or will leave, the industry before full licensing is required early next year. The Biking Broker continues to grow, thanks to your support, and has conformed to licensing and compliance requirements to date.
The GFC has shown that the Australian property market is a secure place to invest as owning a property offers the benefit of a roof over your head as well as the opportunity for building wealth through investment.
I start this issue by looking at the movement of ‘next-time’ buyers into the property market (see first article), as an increasing number of home owners look to upgrade their existing homes or buy an investment property.
In article 2 I focus on successful strategies for property investment – ‘Buying an Investment Property’ – as well as how to use property to build a nest egg for retirement – ‘Retirement Nest Egg’ (article 4).
